David and Reed Bowman, Tall Pedestal Table is made of copper with patina with a square glass top. It measures 40 inches tall and the width at the bottom is 14 inches. The glass top is 15 inches square.
This pedestal is a beautiful example of David and Reed's work. A timeless design which feels contemporary while also suggesting ancient architechture, the pedestal table complements decor from craftsman to mission style to allow them to stay in the background and simply compliment the space they're in.
This piece was constructed by hand, with hand tools and simple machines. No part of the production is ever hired out, nor does the studio take in work to produce or patina parts for other people's designs. David began working in metal in 1971, near the time his son, Reed, was born; He first made silver jewelry, later moved on to brass belt buckles, then to larger pieces in patinaed brass. Over the years, David has worked alone or with different assistants, but he has worked exclusively with Reed since the mid-1990's.
David and his son, Reed, offer these pedestal tables in other sizes and patinas. If interested in having something custom-made, please contact us for more information.
